Samosas or sambousaks as they are known in the Arab world, are a favourite across nationalities in Kuwait. Samosas are triangular pattys filled with assortments from mince meat, to mix vegetables, to cheese. You can find samosas in nearly all the Indian and Pakistani restaurants. Although the tradiotional way to enjoy to samosas is in the restaurants, where they are freshly prepared for you, but nowadays the real flavor of samosas can only be achieved if they are prepared at home either from scratch or fried at home.
Samosas are avaialable in nearly all the supermarkets across Kuwait, yet I prefer to buy them from one particular joint in kuwait City called Louzan. This joint is a bit obscured, and is not the one where you can actually dine in. But they have uncooked, frozen samosas in all varieties which can be bought. This way all you will need to do is fry them at home. I especially like the new Pizza flavour samosas. Louzan is located on the Mirqab main bus depot round-about, this is the only round-about which has a mosque. In case you miss it, just ask anyone and they will point it out for you.
